Mars 5th August 2013

Here's an image of Mars low down in the Eastern sky before sunrise. At 4 arcseconds and at 12 degrees above the horizon there is not much to see here. But it's nice to have an image for the first (Earth year) anniversary of Curiousity's landing.

Now that's a catch, Mars at its smallest.

John.
