Venus 30th July

Terrible seeing & no doubt tube currents galore with the C11 as it was a spur of the moment decision to try & get it before it was 'eclipsed' by the house gutter

DMK21

Animation added...Nice seeing hey! ...............

Thanks guys. Luckily it's pretty easy to throw together a reasonable image with the latest technology. Can't beat 60FPS & an exposure of 1/500th sec. with zero gain

Great effort John. Best move the gutter mate.
The image is very smooth for the conditions.

Thanks Ralph, it was easier to shoot it earlier rather than move the gutter lol.

Mark, you'll be lucky to get any detail what so ever mate. Some VERY subtle shadings in extremely nice seeing would be as good as it gets. I've only done this a few times myself. With a mono camera + the U VENUS filter you will get better shading/details.
