Astro Planner for iDevices

Not related (weirdly) to the Mac/PC software of the same name, Astro Planner is an iDevice app that allows you to plan your evenings' observing or photographic run. It will display objects of interest, dynamically downloaded from NASA's SkyView servers, and at your appropriate FOV as calculated for your camera and scope/reducer.

Sort objects visible at programmable times. Filter by catalogue and visibility. Year visibility chart showing the best time of year to view any object. Observing lists. Moon age calculator and altitude chart showing light and dark hours for your object.

Very cool indeed.

iPhone/Pod $7.99, iPad $12.99 and free "Lite" version showing only 5 objects simultaneously.

Chris

I realise it is a long time between posts on this thread, but I was wondering if you happen to be using Astro PLanner?

I now have a new iPad, and I purchased Astro Planner. Seems very nice so far, but I have a question.

Can you tell me what the three coloured lines on the altitude graph show?

Thanks
Darrell
