A Triffid I'm happy with

M20 was one of my first targets and my last attempt at shooting pre-dated not only autoguiding but also PEC which I hadn't set up on my scope. Naturally I didn't get very far with some 10 second subs. Here's my first attempt: http://www.flickr.com/photos/1009024...ream/lightbox/

Almost exactly a year later I'm quite happy how far the new hobby has come.
My exposures are longer, my pictures are brighter, and sharper, and now it just shows more and more of my setup's shortcomings. Next time to deal with field flatness which I almost couldn't see before.

Thanks guys for the kind words.

It's actually quite scary thinking how far I've come in a year. Looking forward to trying some harder targets at astrofest.
