'Darth Vader' of the Australian Bush.

I have been very busy last few months involved in playing around with various remote activated cameras (trail cameras),I've got a few of the more advanced ones,I'll go into more detail,if there is any interest.

But this one I checked today,is a 'home brew' camera-its made with a regular Sony S600 digital camera, and a dedicated kit from U.S.Its a very neat and clever functioning item, the hack was done in Australia, and works very well.I put the kit together-it was really well made, and I was very impressed,Thousands of these are used by keen wildlife spotters all around the world.

As good as it is,I really have not had many interesting creatures captured by it.I put this set in,in a remote graziers' paddock, hopping for a dingo or eagle.I got my eagle-but he was not impressed with my offering-they are very fussy, and only eat the very freshest carcasses, and after 3 days they will not touch one, this bucket load of offal that was 4 days old,was not to his liking-lucky to really get him to have a look, and just look at that 'look'-as if to say,'I landed all the way down here for that! grrrrrr'

I got a few crows too (actually 6000 images). But played around with these images,as still testing and evaluating these 'home brews'.I have taken all these cams up the paddock and put on oats paddock,I'post some results of red deer, hopefully they will be about.

Hope this is of interest.BTW these low res,are not as good as the higher res.
