Ok, so this nebula is not M42 by any stretch of the imagination. But I was happy to actually get anything of this very small faint nebula from the suburbs. Overall the field has some nice colours, and the thing I really like about the nebula itself are the "traffic lights" if the three bright interior stars: blue, red, and yellow.
Plus it was fun going off the beaten track with the DSLR.
