Dr Who 50th aniv

For those that haven't seen it there's a clip on YouTube of the 50th anniversary show featuring a couple of doctors !

I can remember watching the first series in the early 60's on a B&W TV, it was William Hartnell then...

Then along came the Daleks and kids found that hding behind the sofa was done by adults too.

IMHO there was only ever two doctors, the ones I grew up watching as a kid, Jon Pertwee & Tom Baker, the latter being my favourite. I could never warm to the later doctors and then I saw a recent episode with flying Dalek's...flying Dalek's of all things. Was this to address the issue that a Dalek finds stairs challenging. Then I saw an episode of Torchwood which I found woeful, particularly for a British series. I understand Torchwood was a spin off from Dr Who.

I partly agree with Hans, but you gotta give credit where it's due, the current reboot of the series has been thoroughly entertaining and has introduced a whole new generation to the wonders of Dr Who!
