M8 Lagoon Nebule

Well, after a long time with cloud cover I was able to get the scope out last night and catch about 90 minutes of data on m8. This is my first attempt at this subject and I will get more data after the winds here in Brisbane subside. Have some good data but not sure if I will be able to get the full effect of this due to having a none mod Canon. I have tried to keep the colours natural and feed back or advice would be great.

Not too bad at all Carl.

Feedback, as requested. Looking at the stars, focus is very close. I shouldn't worry too much about the non-modded look. More data will help to increase the SNR, to a point and everyone expects the image to be a little short on Ha, but you can still get good detail.

I've been in Brisbane working for three weeks - lots of rain and chilly too. Colder than I imagined.

Nice. It's good to see what we can do with the unmodded cameras.
