Hi guys,
I'm a new user of this forum, here I can see all your beatiful images about austral sky, so I joined to post my pictures of "our" sky, but I'm not at your level...
Hope you like my idea, in this way I can better my poor english, sorry for this, be patient!
My son is living in New Zealand by my sister for two months, so I think to learn more here, your "slang" for example

This is my last image taken with Vixen Visac @ f6.4 mounted on Avalon Instruments M-Uno, autoguided by a Lacerta MGen on a 50mm finderscope, with an eos 60D cooled by CentralDS, idas lps filter, from my backyard observatory.

Stacked 16 sub of 900s with 11 dark, 21 flat &11 darkflat with Iris software and refined with Photoshop CS5.

You have some wonderful images and your English is fine. As for our "slang", Australian slang words may be slightly different to those of New Zealand but I'm sure the Kiwi's on IIS can help you there!

I live in a rural area in the north of Rome, called Sabina, the cradle of olive oil, where the Romans 2000 years ago did the rape of the Sabine women.
