HaLRGB Lagoon

Here's my first attempt at combining H-alpha with a LRGB of the Lagoon.
Instrument - Tak FSQ, G11, camera QSI683wsg8, astronomik filters.
integration times: L 16x 120s, R,G,B 8 x 300s, Ha 4 x 1200s.
Image taken from suburban Perth.
This was another hole-in-one polar alignment, I used the compass to align the tripod, and just put the G11 head in place! No other adjustments.
Comments and constructive criticism welcome.

cheers,
Andrew.

Nice image Andrew. Especially well done from a less than dark site!

Thanks - I think I've worked out the optimal sub lengths for the filters now - but the h-alpha channel does all the work when light pollution is concerned.

AIX algorithm via pixinsight. No tweaking, there isn't a great deal of processing in this image. Ill probably refine it during the inevitable bad weather.

That is one superb shot. Reading on it's an FSQ106 obviously.

That's a great wide shot of the Lagoon Andrew, especially considering minimal processing. Well done
