Red Jr in Peril

Well, not really..

The official line is, that they will both survive intact after their encounter around the 4th-8th July.. but Red Jr may slow down, causing it to perhaps lose it's red colour that came about when it increased in intensity.

More (including Chris Go's and hubble pics) on the NASA Science site:

http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2...n_redperil.htm

I hope to get some good seeing over the next month so I get some more images of it. Chris has posted my June 12 image on the Red Spot Jr site.
