"Topic" 4.5" reflector - great starter scope!

This is an old Japanese "Topic" 4.5 inch newtonian reflector. It has really superb optics (secondary could do with replacement or re-silvering though still good enough). Uses an odd eyepiece (shown), but am sure you could use regular 0.965" EP's too - if they'll come to focus.

NOTE: the EQ mount is MISSING the counterweight and shaft. Never mind - just turn the axis 90° and use alt-az! Just what I did! But finding or making a counterweight and shaft would be simple enough.

This is a GREAT starter scope, that offers exquisite lunar and planetary views, and is JUST starting to be enough aperture for some bright DSO's. Was going to use this as an intro scope for my daughter, but we are relocating for work, and I need to rationalise.

The scope was recently refurbished and repainted by myself (in Old Celestron Orange ) . As you can see, the primary and secondary are fully collimatable too.

Now, the price: $50, postage ADDITIONAL (won't be much)

Payment via Paypal (preferred), money order or direct deposit. Can't do face to face, as I won't be here, so my wife will post it (already boxed). I will include a Barlow and some 0.965" EP's.
