Reflective slit module and "new" FC125 spectroscope

Just an update...
We've been working on a new reflective entrance slit plate which provides 9 slit widths (19 to 100 micron) and three pinholes (20/50/100 micron - for fibre optic connections?)
The slit module will allow quick and easy changeover between slits and also has an internal flip mirror for darks and reference lamps.
The whole thing will be packaged into a 60 x 60 x 60 cube. Suitable for all Spectra-L200 instruments and can be incorporated into most DIY designs. Neat!
The latest FC125 (Folded Classical) spectroscope, R=1000 (600 l/mm grating) is taking shape. This compact, and capable design is only 120 x 140 x 60mm. The preferred spectral imaging lens is the Canon 85mm f1.8 prime, but a 125mm achromat can be used.
Stay tuned.
