Nice Flash. I only go up to the 10mm Delos, as I have the Ethos as well. Although I like my Ethos, depending on which scope I use them in, I think the Delos are definitely better, particularly in my refractors.

Cheers Pete

I hear you Peter , in my friends 16 inch GSO dob his 9mm Delos runs rings around my 9mm Nagler ( sort off ) but it is sharper , true .
But in my 127mm Istar the 9mm Nagler is better than the Delos ?? .

Also in my 127mm Istar my 13mm T1 Nagler is un-distigushable from another friends 13mm Ethos ( except the FOV ) man a 1990's eyepiece against a 2013 baby , we tried these two 13mm's in lots of scopes saturday night and the only thing my 13mm T1 lost out on was weight , it hassled the Dobs some what .
Love my 13mm T1 , a classic beauty .

Then we tried the 13mm Ethos in the 22 inch ( see my thread in 'star parties , club events etc. ) and it stayed there all night , what a combo !! , but just for a lark on a mag 15 galaxy we swapped the 13mm Ethos for my 17mm T4 Nagler and guess what ?? .
The Nagler showed the faint fuzzy better . Same AFOV .
We all had a great night swapping and changing eyepieces in scopes , fun , and wish you all were there . .

Yep Refractors rule when it comes to testing eyepieces , sorry to say .

Brian.

interesting brian.you give a great review.
Using different eyepiece combination with different telescope types is like a marriage. Some are happy and work well but some are unhappy and don't work out.

I really like the Delos in my Dob. My favourite Delos is the 10 and is probably my most used eyepiece. I spend most nights switching between that and my 13 Ethos and find those 2 eyepieces to be a great combination.

Happiness is.....

Having a wife/girlfriend/significant other in your life who genuinely enjoys astronomy as much as you do and as a consequence is willing to huddle/cuddle with you on a cold winter night looking through your telescope(s)

Additionally, if you have such a person in your life there are typically no boundaries or guilt on how much you expend on buying astro gear

In one sense he lives on via his 2 filmed recordings (that I am aware of) of his shows and several audio recordings of other shows as well

'White Album' ... we know ...

Keep it in the 'Bungalow, Bill' to paraphrase slightly.
