TPG Internet, problems?

Anyone with TPG having any problems with particular pages not loading? For some reason wikipedia takes a while to load on my tablets but desktop is fine.

It's just some random pages aren't loading on particular devices and was wondering if it's affecting anyone else?

I've had that on occasion. We're certain web sites will open and others won't no matter what the device. It never normally taks that long to clear though.

You need to switch between a proxy and no proxy.

proxy.tpg.com.au port 3128

Sometimes it happens to me. Just unplug your modem for a minute and plug it back in, usually fixes the problem.

Yep. Just wanted to make sure it was normal and if others had a similar problem because I know I do not need to change any kind of settings such as the proxy.

Thanks guys!

Trust me.

Change your proxy, and, everything will start working again. It takes a moment, and, the settings are preserved in your browser. All you need to do is tick/untick it.

proxy.tpg.com.au port 3128.

The internet was fine when I woke up this morning. Outlook is loading on my Mac and Wikipedia is loading on my portable devices now.

Yes, it's for when it stops working. Just tick the box and away you go.

No need to restart the router to re-establish a connection.

There's plugins for various browsers that let you bring up a little menu in the status bar and choose your proxy, so you don't have to go through the whole Tools > Preferences > Settings, etc., route.

SwitchProxy for Firefox is one.

I know it's not ideal, but, it's all we can do other than petition TPG to sort out their issues upstream. My understanding is that it doesn't happen to all customers. It just happens at random.
