Mini cameras under L lenses-anyone using?

Just watching a bit of news, and noticed some footage of the PM being filmed and photographed.I always take particular note of the gear used by these photographers-those red ring lenses are well favoured (although such a waste of good glass using on any of those two legged dingoes),anyhow-on this clip,I noticed a 16-35 mm in use and it had a little cam underneath it,it looked kinda cute, and I am wondering if anyone here uses such a set up,and what they use it for.I am guessing it was a 'go-pro' or similar.I am thinking such a set up may by useful for some of my gathering of data when out in the field. It would save me a bit of time-as I take photos-and doing some filming.

So if anyone using,be good to hear about it,and see your set up,and way its fitted. Thanks

Probably a Canon EOS-M with their EF lens adapter.

Don't think you can attach an additional lens on a GoPro.
