First Quarter Moon

My first moon shot.

Just a single shot taken with the Canon EOS 6D, cropped, reduced in size for the attachment limitations here.

It was a very nice view through the eyepiece as well, although there was a moderate amount of shimmer.

Great shot, Chris! Do you mind me asking what telescope you used and what your camera settings were?

Thanks.

I forgot to add them back into the message when I realised I had not set up my sig.

Anyway, I've got a G11 with a GSO RC10 CF, camera is Canon EOS 6D. I'm pretty sure it was ISO 100 and I seem to recall 1/30 or 1/25 sec. I'll try to remember to check tonight.

I took some more pics the next night that might be even better, but I haven't got around to processing them yet. I should have taken some video, but I was working on other things at the time and did not think to do it.
