A planetary gift

I didn't expect to see this tonight because of the cloud a d rain but there it was a few minutes away - a lineup in the low western sky of Jupiter, Venus and Mercury that would fall into a single frame with a DSLR - hitch of course I don't have handy.

Friday evening they should be in a straight line. Don't think we'll see any in Sydney though...
