Sharing the eclipse with 200 school children

Great images of the eclipse, everyone!

My wife and I took my scope in to the kid's school and projected an images of the eclipse for the children to see. My daughter's grade 3 class are currently learning about the solar system in science, so the eclipse was nicely timed for them. We ended up showing 8 or 9 classes the eclipse, which I think they enjoyed (although they probably found the Transit of Venus more spectacular last year).

Anyway, here's a few images.

Cheers,
Stephen

Thanks Mark, David and Derek!

Hopefully we sparked the interest in a few of the kids. We did get lots of questions David - the best one was "Have you ever seen anybody go to the Moon?" (from one of the Prep kids). But some of the grade 3s were telling me about the umbra and penumbra, which was impressive I thought!

Cheers,
Stephen
