Computer purchased.

Hi,
I have just bought a DELL 17 inch 8Gb Ram, 2Gb graphics card, I7 processor, full HD screen and i am going to run sequence generator pro and PHD guiding, photoshop , and pixinsite. Should be fun.

Very nice. I bought a similar system 18mths ago an am very happy with it.
Shouldnt have any problems running everything you need to, even processing hums along nicely.

I am glad you said computer and not notebook or laptop, 17" machines aren't small and light.

tlgerdes, 17" notebooks are just under 4kg... still lighter than some telescopes

Yep. My 17" i7 Qosmio is about 4Kg, but only has a 1GB video card. I wish the scopes weighed that little.
