These were mostly morning shots, but not terribly early - we didn't start walking till about 10am. The Grand Bazaar was closed (because it was Sunday?

) so nothing from there. We did walk through smaller bazaars and markets which were quite crowded, but its difficult to get good shots when its very crowded

. Most opportunities occurred in the gaps in the ebb and flow of people.
I'm not one for crowds but I didn't find the crowds in Istanbul to be a problem. They don't rush so they don't need to stop abruptly to think of what they are doing, they respect personal space... it all just seemed to flow.
