PST Sol 29th April

Conditions were terrible & I was fortunate just to get my standard 6 pane mosaic in for full disc purposes so again, no proms but this time due to clouds.

40mm PST/DMK21/6 paner.

that sunspot group is getting bigger - and the weather thicker - hope we get to see it before the end of the weekend

Nice work John. I hadn’t really absorbed the fact that these are multi pane images. You’ve done some good with the knitting, to join the seams so well.

Thanks Dennis. Yes, in order to get a full disc with the DMK21 plus the PST I need to do a mosaic. 4 panes should be ordinarily be enough however with the PST sweetspotting, I have to do a 6 pane mosaic which gives me plenty of overlap in order to kill any gradients associated with this problem. Also for the proms, it's another 6 pane mosaic..
