Hopefully, get better JPEG resamples that fit IIS upload size parameters

Let's see - original 3MB png converted to Catmull-Rom resampled jpeg. M8 of course:

YEAH! That worked. And it's free software. Old news I am sure, but for anyone without it: http://luci.criosweb.ro/riot/

I remember it Lewis. And the compression tool does work very well. You seem to have a handle on image processing too!

OK, extreme resample - original image is 35 MB. Resample is 460 KB.

Fingers crossed (NGC 3372 Eta Carinae Complex)

Thanks Laurie, but maybe just the VERY start on the grip of that handle! LONG LONG LONG way to go, though am happy with my progress over this past 8 months (that's as long as I have been imaging now, with a 2.5 month hiatus thanks to QLD's atrocious weather over January, February and March)

Looks good Lewis. Have you got the Vix mount setup with the Synscan yet?

That'd be NO Matt - still nothing from Tasco. Getting to the stage of taking it back for a refund and purchasing O/S. VERY frustrating.

Steve from Astro-Shop told me there would not be any more EQ5 Synscan kits until May. That influenced me to buy a GPD2 with it already fitted
