Sunspots 892/893

Here's an image I took this morning of the sun featuring sunspots 892/893.
Image was taken with the Orion 80ED and a JMB type A solar filter using the Canon 20Da set at 1600 ISO and 1/4000 sec exposure.

Hope you enjoy.

Good One RB. Good to see something different (solar).

I'd like to have a go at that one day...

they look good... if i get a chance (which i doubt) i might try a close up of them

lovely image, I can see the granularity on the sun coming through nicely. Great to see something a little different and more orange too

The sun's pretty quiet at the moment when it comes to spots though by the look... is it the off-period in the 11 year cycle?

cheers,
