I have for sale a 12" f4.8 GSO Dob. I am moving to Queensland soon, and I have limited space for the move, so unfortunately, this has to go. The scope has been a great friend over the years and seen a lot of observing...
Enough with the soppy stuff.... About the scope. Well, its going cheap, mainly because the mount, while serviceable, needs some cosmetic work. The teflon pads have been beefed up in size. The mount has been reinforced with L brackets.
The scope itself has one major modification, that being, the 4 vien secondary mount has been replaced with a 2 vein 120 degree offset mount, which significantly improves the image due to reducing flare.
The tube itself could probably due with a dust / clean out.
The mirror is fine.
3 eyepieces with it, 25mm, 12mm and 9mm PL. It has a right angle 8 x 50 finder as well.
