That is just plain ridiculous, wouldn't touch them with a 40ft pole, so to speak.

I don't know, A Celestron 11 Inch CPC Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope Ultimate Bundle for $136.00 seems reasonable!!!

Geez, it's almost worth paying the $136 just to see if you actually get it.... life's a gamble you know...

Cheers,
Mario

Contact email is the vacuumcupshop via hotmail, maybe they are off setting the price of scope with the extortionate price on coffee cups.

Would not go near this at all!

There is another website a mate showed me where they have really cheap computers. You can get a brand new MacBook Pro Retina for under 1k. So dodgy!

Looks dodgy all round, although I've never had as much trouble with Softlayer as some others like The Planet.

FSQ-106ED for $420 ?
They claim a shipping weight of 5712g. Tak Europe say the OTA is 7kg. I wonder what bits they leave out. Do they just ship the box?
A bit much of a gamble for me.

Everything about the products looks wrong: weight, price, model number. The only thing they seem to have got right is matching photo to name (at least for the ones I checked). Maybe they've been taking lessons from the Nigerians?

I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

I so want this to be true!

Though I love how the Meade 5000 series scopes get cheaper the larger the aperture.

The 80mm is $423 but the 127mm is a total bargain at only $273.

I just signed up with a bogus name, address etc.

I then ordered 20 Tak's and they accepted COD.

It looks like Mr Dopy Boofhead of Silly Street, Antartica is going to get a surprise in 1 to 5 days time.

The Planet IS Softlayer. Used to be EV1 before Rackshack in the 90s. The Planet bought EV1, Softlayer bought The Planet. Worst ISP ever IMHO. I used them all in the past. Boxes hacking each other from within the same network even racks.

I would love a couple of Taks.
