dslr camera

I just recently purchased a nikon d600 for family shots as well as astrophotography . I wanted to learn about as much as I could about astrophotography before going to a ccd . I now have doubts about having bought a Cannon 60da instead . Can anyone tell me I would still be able to produce some good images with the Nikon d600.

Yes you will still be able to produce great images with your camera!

I don't know too much about the Nikon specifically but the key difference between it and and 60Da is that the 60Da will be sensitive to a broader range of light, especially in the infrared.
