Frontier Optics experience

Hi, anyone had trouble with Frontier Optics, I purchased some filters and received all bar one, tried to contact but can't raise them. Be careful of this Lumicon reseller. Tried communicating with Lumicon as Frontier Optics is their reseller, but no interest from them. Only lost $50, but makes u think about internet purchases.

Well posting in an agressive manner like that won't help your cause much. I have known Daniel Beringer (owns Frontier Optics) for over 10 years. He is one of the nicest people you will meet and goes way beyond the call of duty to satisfy his customers, as many other forum members could testify.

Contacting Lumicon won't help you, why should they care less? I suggest you try emailing Daniel again and ask for an update.

Cheers,
John B

I can't see that Peter was aggressive really. Direct maybe.

Cheers

I agree as well. He was merely stating what he had experienced. A business is all about customer service since if you get that right, people will come to you time and time again however if you treat them bad, they will never return and will take their friends and families with them too.

However, it might be one bad apple that has stunk the whole sack. I would wait to hear back from Frontier before deciding.

Add to the above quote the fact that the title to Peter's thread is "Frontier Optics ripped off".

I am with Ausastronomer, that is more than constructive comment, it is warning others off by suggesting deceitful conduct in business.

I have only had wonderful service from Frontier Optics over the years. Daniel Beringer has observed with us on the central coast from time to time, and has a real love of the night sky.

I encourage you to give Daniel a chance to make good before jumping to judgment.

I share Rod's experience with Frontier Optics and Daniel only positive experiences. The original poster's experience to date and mine don't match.

I've modified the title slightly which is now more consistent with the tone of the post and leaves room for things to be settled easily.

Hi Guys,

I simply have not seen Peters email to me regarding this matter. I have sent him a email through this site last night and he will be receiving a refund as the filter he requires is still not in stock with Lumicon.

Thank you to my wondefrul customers who supported me here.

Clear Skies

Looking forward working this out

Hi Daniel, Thanks for making contact, it looks like a couple of months of misunderstandings as obviously the strong support from you friends and clients means you really don’t deserve the negative comments, looking forward working this out with you.
