SuperRoboFocus kit

Hi All,

I’m selling my SuperRoboFocus system as it’s no longer needed.

Some of you may have discovered when using the standard RoboFocus stepper motor in combination with heavy large format CCD cameras that obtaining consistent focusing within the critical focus zone is an arduous task especially for fast refractors with a small CFZ window. The standard RoboFocus stepper motor uses a 50:1 gear reduction that for most applications works ok. However if you are looking to run heavy gear off the focuser troubles are not far away. An upgrade of the stepper motor to the Hurst LSG42 provides a 300:1 gear reduction that provides significant torque and more importantly textbook perfect FocusMax v-curves when running heavy payloads.

Complete SuperRoboFocus kit - $380 (includes postage anywhere in AU)[SOLD] Thanks!
  • RoboFocus controller v3.1 - includes cable for PC connection and power cable with cigarette plug)
  • SuperRoboFocus Stepper motor (mounted on bracket, already wired/cabled ready to be plugged into the controller and includes rack/pinion telescope fitting 8mm dia shaft)

I also have for sale;
New SuperRoboFocus Stepper motor (still in box, needs to be wired which is easy to do) - $80 + postage[SOLD] Thanks!
Original RoboFocus Stepper motor - $40 + postage [SOLD] Thanks!
Two spare brackets - $8 + postage [SOLD] Thanks!

Questions by PM please.
