Looks like a great little mount and seems to be quiet portable. And tracking seems to be good would like to see some PE results for this.

Ioptron also have a new version of the IEQ45 that now also can work in Alt/AZ mode.

Its great to see some competition in this market. Its generating some innovative designs.

It does look interesting. It is only rated at a 27 Lbs (12 Kgs) carrying capacity so it sits a bit below a HEQ5 in that sense. But it could well be a good travelling rig for a bit of wide-field stuff. A good refractor with FW/OAG/CCD and the usual bits and pieces will easily run up to 10-11 Kgs though. I have triedm, where I can, to only load a mount to about 2/3 it's rated capacity. I think this one would have to be taken closer to its limits. How well it handles that for imaging purposes will be the thing I'll be watching.
