Awesome Saturn from last year

I was just surfing Steve Masseys site and was blown away by his latest Saturn image from last year (top of page) - looks pretty incredible to me

Massey's Saturn

Steven is one of the pioneers of planetary/video imaging and clearly still has what it takes ....Just thought some may not have seen it on here

Nice data but I think Steve has used the shadows and highlights too much. The planet looks a bit washed out, but certainly he had good data.

You think..? Hmm? I dunno, me no planetary processing expert (I have looked a plenty of Saturn images though ) I think Steves level of colouring, sharpening and highlights looks pretty spot on to me, hence why I felt compelled to post it in the end we are splitting hairs I recon

Yeah Steve & I were having a Saturn imaging competition at the time, so I remember this image & time frame well...According to him, I won. According to me, he did

Healthy competition is good fun, especially when the standard is so high ... as long as people keep it good spirited of course which it sounds like it was
