Heart of the Sun Beats

This is the third day in a row I have been able to image AR1711. I hope it continues for a week or so. It will be interesting to see the changes. The bridges across the AR make it look like a heart in the wider field shots.

Fessing up

Thanks one and all.
Tip- In order to try and get the best out of things (processing wise) I have been guiding the exposures. I think it makes the stacking process much smoother. My mount is pretty well alined but I firmly believe this is helping. And of course if you do field trips it is a must!!!
I use Mire de Collimation Ver 3.0 It is free of the web and will over lay any capture program you might have.
You probably think Im mad but try it and see.

You keep managing to sneak these threads on without me noticing! Great results. Not mad at all! Rule of thumb > If there is no movement of said video/data in the FOV then the aligning software does a much better job! In my case it hasn't got time to move. 18 second captures tops.
