Stockman Weekender Cabin Tent (two room)
For sale here in average condition (pickup only) is a Stockman Weekender Cabin tent.
From memory it was a sleeps 8 tent - IMO - 4 adults (two in each room) on sleeping mats with full size sleeping bags is about it's capacity.
It appears to be a type of Light canvas, and is showing signs of age (stitching is getting brittle).
Attached are the instructions so the prospective buyer knows what they're getting in for ... they are easy to put up and down once you've done it a couple of times - but don't try this with SWMBO after dark for the first time - life threatening stuff!.
Last time it was used in heavy rain it leaked, so would benefit from re-waterproofing ... it was dried properly and is always stored in a tradies toolbox away from the weather, moths etc.
Bags that hold both the pegs and the canvas are both in average condition and require replacement.
I'm also thinking an industrious someone could turn the two rooms into an obs and equipment room for on the go astronomy.
$100 and it's yours - make an offer? With IIS Annual camp coming up soon, surely someone needs a cheap tent.
