looking for a lift back post iisac

hi to all fellow astronomers my name is Anthony Ricketts & this yr im attending my 1st iisac after the camp has finished im wondering if anybody would be heading back down past Goulburn,Canberra way as im looking for a lift if anyone would have a spare seat in their car or boot i would be happy to give you fuel $$ that is not a problem i dont have a car & my dear mum is dropping me off at lostock caravan park on the 10th & has a app in Syd on the 11th unfortunately she cannot give me a lift back hence why im posting this i hope someone out there has a good hrt & will take this offer up as its fuel $$ for you + someone to keep you company on the return journey pls get back to me if you think you could help this 1st timer out pls dont be afraid to mssge me cheers for your time. Sorry Anthony, I can't help with a lift (not going that far anyway) but are you camping at the caravan park or at the scout camp? The caravan park is 3.6ks as the crow flies for the scout camp - probably a good 5k walk if you don't have a car...

thanks m8 for the reply prob stay the caravan park on the 10th or might just get directions from staff at the park & my old girl can just drop me there at the scout camp & i'll rough it for the night.

cheers do you know if the xpt train goes to Canberra from there if it doesi might take your offer.?

XPT through Lithgow goes out to Dubbo not Canberra. You'd have to go back to Central. If that was the case a lift to anywhere on the central coast or Newcastle would be better (a shorter drive at least).
