Thanks all, appreciate the comments. It's not often seeing like this comes around & hopefully It'll stick around for a bit

Trying to find a 'stand out from the crowd' image from last night/this morning has proved to be very difficult. The seeing was very stable over the 1.5 hrs I was out there imaging.

This one has a slight edge over the other 18 AVI's I reckon.

In the shot from left to right: Rhea, Dione, Enceladus & Tethys.

I have now appeased the planet imaging madman within - At least until next week!!

Thanks Franck!

Thanks Ray. Took one look at the seeing naked eye & knew I was in for a special one. It's still a rush even after 6 + years

Absolutely stunning! That last photo is remarkably clear.

And really great to see such enthusiasm even after 6 years, that is really cool.

Thank you for sharing.

Carmen

Thanks Carmen. Yes, very happy with that last one

Thanks Stuart. Actually there's next to no processing on any of these. The better the seeing, the less you have to do to the data to get an acceptable image

Here's a 6 frame animation. The seeing was that constant during the shoot that it's hard to see any movement, as there is no real globe details to concentrate on, although if you stare hard at the pole region you'll see the hexagon shape of the pole moving. I purposely took 3 of the frames & gave them more unsharpmasking & saturation to make it easier to see movement
