Saturn 2012 - 2013

Here's an interesting comparison of the changing appearance of Saturn from one year to the next... in particular you can see that the polar hex was not easy to see last year as the entire polar hood was quite dark in colour, something that's clearly changed with the increased sunlight on the north pole over the last 12 months...

That's an interesting comparison, and awesome that one can actually clearly see the polar hexagon shape! Great work

Thanks guys, we have Saturn nice and high in Australia now for many years to come, lets hope we can get some good seeing to go with it...
