Hey Peter, I have not used the Canon d20 before, but i wanted to take photos of the great barrier reef when i went snorkling. I have the Olympus Shockproof waterproof camera, i have the old U20 9MP version, and i am very happy with it! even though its now 8 years old, it still works as well as the day i bought it!

here is a couple of photos underwater, remember this is 8 year old technology. Im sure the new cameras these days leave mine for dead.

sweet james there great shots....i was also worried that they are water proof and do last...well 8 years is fantastic....i think they are to 10meters deep which is way more then enough.

thanks for you images and info...

thanks mark,
sounds like there a tough little camera..there's no problem with the salt water....just a general rinse in fresh water when finished..
