Panstarrs 3/12, from San Jose

Here is the North America view of Panstarrs from last evening here in San Jose, California.

Canon EOS 5D MKII
ISO 400
2 sec
Nikon 300mm F/2.8 @ f/4

Overall not visible to the naked eye. Faint tail and getting fainter.

That's great framing.

Looks good. I tried to get this one twice but missed it. I think I did actually get it once just before it set and it just looked like a bright star.

Greg.

Glad you were able to image panstarrs John!

Your right, it does appear to be fading.

Cheers,

Justin.
