First image Eta Carina

This is my first ever image of Eta Carina

Hyperstar lens and 60da @ F2 on C11

10 x 10 sec subs
20 x 20 sec subs
5 x 30sec subs

With darks no flats

Stacked in DSS with novice processing in PixBuilder (saving up for Pixinsight)

I think the collimation of the hyperstar lens needed tweeking a little bit, but I had a fear of making it worse so I left it for now.

Also added pic of the gear

Any suggestions welcome

Great Image Rod

Like your work and looks like a great setup you have. Very envious!

Being able to keep your imaging acquisition time down and still get results like this. Great advantage of hyperstar.

Look forward to seeing much more of your work.

Cheers

Gav

Cheers Carl.

Here's a pic Orion plus some other shots of the gear.

I've been working on the horsehead but battling with clouds, moon and LP, may have to wait until next summer now.
