Saturn reprocess from 15th March

SPX350 F34.5, PGRFlea3, Baader RGB.

Read through the Autostakkert2 and the WJupos tutorials and reprocessed my Saturn manually aligning in WJ and managed to extract more detail. My channels were only 100sec long but I am told I can go for much longer with WJ up to 6 minutes so will try longer captures next time.

I seem to have picked up some bumps along the top band. Cassini/Encke divisions are better and AStakkert does not have the fuzzy ones mixed in with the sharp like Regx does sometimes.

Regards, John.

Looks good John, certainly some nice detail resolved in there, particularly in and around the polar region.

I have found combining multiple normal length RGB's work better than very long individual R, G & B channels with WinJUPOS but for sure, experimentation is the way to go.

The crepe ring is very dark John, more or less black. I suppose it is subjective but I prefer to be able to see it well defined. Not sure if you get to see much of Donald Parkers work but I reckon he does a better job than most with the C ring on Saturn.

Regards
Trevor
