G'Day All,
Can anyone tell how long it takes for parcel to come from England to Australia

Depends on how it is coming! Air, Surface, Air Express,
And the carrier: DHL is one of the fastest.

Dunno about Oz, but it can take months to NZ. I ordered some stuff from SGL and I swear I could have walked there and back faster.

Ian, depends on the service that was selected and whether the parcel happens to go around the world a few times on the way. Most stuff I've ordered has arrived within 14-30 days but I have had the odd parcel take months to arrive.

Good question Matt all I know is it was posted on the 7/3/13 and I payed 50 pounds for postage

1 parcel took 6 months to arrive 2nd parcel from same company took 17 days

For me, regular post, it's about 14-21 days. My most recent parcel, that arrived last week, took exactly 14 days.

Same here.
I regularly order from the UK (2-3 orders per week using Royal Mail) and they take no longer than 10-14 days. This has been my experience for over 2 years.
All my parcels are between 1 and 5 kg.

iv'e bought several items and usually 10-14 days...then depends where you are in oz..add a few more days if not near a capital city..

As already mentioned, depends on service and service provider.
Twice now I've had a package sent from the UK via Fedex on a Friday and it was in my hands on the Monday.
Had comparable (2 - 3 day) delivery times via DHL.

I have ordered Meccano parts from a UK dealer, Average weight about 1kg. postage. Best delivery was 3 days, sent Thursday Delivered Saturday (yes Sat morning). Usual time about 7 to 10 days.

50 pounds. I would expect a tracking number. Give it 14-21 working days.

Best for me was 2 days. Worst was 19 days.
USA has been my biggest thorn - USPS Express 4 day delivery Guaranteed - 2.5 MONTHS!!! Yes, got a FULL refund on postage!

I guess I've been lucky, most stuff from the UK gets to me in under a week with Royal Mail, although it's mostly "small packets".

Well I got my parcel from the UK yesterday that is when they finally got around to posting it ,it took 5 Days
