Where can I find a separate ED or APO objective ?

For a DIY lightweight apo project I am looking for a 100mm f5...f/7.5 apo objective lens.
I found this 100mm f/7, but $1200 is a rather steep price tag as complete 100mm ED/APO telescopes can be gotten for under $1000. Probably less quality than FPL-53 but still (almost) apo. Surplus Shed only has achros with the color fringes which is not my goal.
Where do the Skywatchers, William Optics-es get the lenses from ?

You can pick up very good achro doublet objectives made with R30+ glass which reduces CA significantly from iStar. They supply to ATM market and prices are in your budget. However I think the 127mm might be the smallest they make in their antiagstmatic range. I have the 127 R30 which I am using for my build. With those objectives if you go for a long focal length like a 127mm f12 the CA will not be a problem and can be used for imaging.

Of course the APO ED nazis will disagree.

Istar sell 102mm and 127mm , I built a 127 f8 using an Istar , last year and its BEAUTY .
