C/2011 l4 panstarrs 3/3/2013

C/2011 L4 PANSTARRS. Naked eye comet low in the western sky after sunset. Image taken with a Canon 400D and 80mm F450mm Refractor, on a HEQ5 Mount. 10 x 60s Exp @ ISO200. Gradients are a real pain being so low to the horizon...

That's good work Andrew!

You got a little detail in the dust tail, tough to do on this comet.

I ran it through Gradient Exterminator, and considering how harsh the gradient was, I think it did a pretty good job.
