Glad to see you've got better weather than us! I'd hate to think it was this miserable everywhere.

I've just pumped about 40mm of rain water out of the pool to get the level back somewhere near where it should be. I'll have to get rid of some more later today if the rain keeps going.

Three days ago it should have had a top-up. Glad I didn't do it.

I'll take some of the blame. I have two new scopes sitting here ready for first light.

I have a feeling that we'll be having clear skies for New Moon.

I don't know what to do with all my clear skies this summer... Might use the clear skies forecast on Sunday to enjoy the Airshow and then observe next week as new moon approaches with yet more clear skies on the cards....

Looks exactly like what I see out of my window right now. Sounds like the whole east coast is drenched this week.

Hi Col,

It's obvious. Someone has won lotto and bought up big. Smart too. Not telling anyone. I know if I had a windfall I'd keep it quiet. Imagine the abuse that person would attract for being responsible for this much rain.

Time to conduct a witch hunt. Burn 'em at the stake. Boil 'em in oil.

Cheers

I wish we could have some of that rain. I just got home after being away for a quite a while and it's a dreadfully bone dry here. In fact putting on the bore pump, the surface won't absorb the water it's so dry here.

Did I hear somewhere La Nina was now neutral and you guys and gals are slowing moving into El Nino?

Darrin...
