I have made a montage of today's massive solar prominence. I initially imaged this prominence at about 9:45am and then came back from town and took a further 7 images over a three hour period.
There was a dramatic effect on the shape of the prominence as it dissipated towards the end of my imaging run.
Thank you all for your comments. This was one of the largest solar prominences that I have seen. I was lucky to have a cloudless day, although the seeing could have been better.
