Life bursts forth from the earth

...at least that's what i thought when i came across this interesting rock formation on the weekend (near Dunedoo NSW), as if the tree split that rock in half.

Canon 400D, Nikon 50mm f1.8 prime
1/1000s @ f11, ISO 200

2 frame and 10 frame panorama respectively.
