Eta Carina in H-alpha

Original size 170mb. Reduced in order to meet ISS uploading specs.

Optics: Skywatcher 120ed Black Diamond Refractor
Guiding: Orion Starshoot with modified 9x50 finderscope (PHD guiding)
Focuser: High Resolution Moonlight 2” Crayford
Camera: Canon 500d modified DSLR (focus & capture Nebulosity3)
Filters: Asronomiks 12nm H-alpha
Exposures: 59 x 5min @1600iso plus matching dark frames
Processing: Nebulosity3 2x Drizzle
Post processing: Photoshop CS5

Taken 2 weeks ago on a rare clear night, and i mean rare.

Slightly larger version plus others at 500px.com/crainer2
