Too much work involved with a 19 paner. Think I'll stick to 6 pane @ 100%. This one @ 1.5X barlowed. Can certainly see the gradients from not big enough overlaps - Easy to get 'lost' on the centre regions at this scale..

Reason: Pic replacement
I went over the image with a masking technique involving 2 points of upper level brightness (levels) on the dark bands, & - 2 upper level brightness (levels) on the brighter bands. Still noticeable the smaller the image but viewing it big it's getting harder to detect the banding.
The problem came at capture time so all that's needed is a better eye at judging how much overlap per set.
GDay John,
I had the same trouble.
Plenty of programs to stitch them together but I have gone back to manual stitching and have found the less over lap the better your control over the gradient between images. I have even tried making flats to get rid of the banding to no avail. Mind you I havent tried for a while and I have a different setup.
The image is showing a lot of detail for a PST.
If I happen to stumble on a fix I will let you know.
