They didn't discuss the VALE class of bulkers. They are built for the Chinese/Brasil run: up to 360 metres long; 65 metres wide and a summer draft of around 23 metres and around 400,000 dwt. Big buggers.
To put that in perspective, in Hay Point we're handling up to 300 metres x 50 metres x 20 metres and a dwt around 200,000 tonnes. And they take at least a nautical mile (1.852 km) to stop. Can get a bit twitchy if the engines don't fire astern!
