Thunder Struck! My first ever lightning captures

Sooo excited, after scanning through more than 200 Raw images of these two seperate storms I came across two strikes.

The first image was taken late at night, the second image was taken a few days later just as the sun was setting in the back ground.

At this stage I'm just happy that I caught some lightning the next step will be to focus on framing too. Both times it was pouring and really windy so I constantly had to wipe the lens dry

Thanks for looking.

Excellent images! Particularly the second one for me - nice foreground and framing, but both are very pretty. Looks like you might have the bug now!

Cheers Flash! Particularly with the first image I had to reduce the highlight bar in RAW just to see it. Sitting there watching the storm pass was blinding
